There are many ways that you can help the Veterinary Trust. These include individual donations, either through the annual appeal, or independently, bequests, and purchases. The easiest ways to help the Trust are listed below. The Veterinary Trust is now a registered 'Deductible Gift Recipient".

Annual Appeal

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Trust, you do not have to wait until the appeal! Please feel free to contact the Trust office for further information on making your donation or download the donation slip and post to the Trust office.

Bequests

When making your will, you may like to remember the Veterinary Trust in it. Bequests are traditionally a lasting way to say thank you to an establishment or Foundation that does work that you believe in. Bequests can be as small or large as you like, and are easy to arrange. Contact us for more information if you would like to remember the Trust in your Will.

Caring for Pets Fund

Anyone can donate to the Caring for Pets Fund. However, it is a special way for a veterinarian to acknowledge the loss of a client’s pet. This meaningful gesture demonstrates care and commitment to clients and shows an ongoing concern for the future of pets in our community, as monies from Caring for Pets are earmarked for research into diseases of companion animals. If you are not a veterinarian, your donation may be in memory of a lost pet, if you choose. Please complete the attached Caring for Pets donation slip, or contact the trust office for more information.

Prescribed Personal Funds

'Prescribed Personal Funds' are a tax friendly mechanism to build a fund for investment, then disbursement to organizations with 'Deductible Gift Recipient' status. The Veterinary Trust recently obtained this status. Speak to your financial advisor about making the Murdoch University Veterinary Trust a beneficiary of your Prescribed Personal Fund.

Gouldian Finches

A beautiful print is available for sale from the Veterinary Trust Office. “Gouldian Finches” can be purchased for $33 or $55 for a copy signed by Ian D'Souza, and makes a beautiful addition to any home or office. You can also visit Artist Ian D’Souza's website to see range of his fantastic work.
