Wesfarmers Professor in Biochemistry and Nutrition
Prof.
David Pethick is the Wesfarmers Associate Professor in Biochemistry
and Nutrition. Wesfarmers have made a strong commitment to the Veterinary
Trust for a five-year period, and their support and vision is valued
immensely. Benefits to the Division go beyond the financial, and include
closer links with both the rural industry and primary producers. Benefits
to Wesfarmers include generic promotion of Wesfarmers, targeted field
days for Wesfarmers, and contributions to the continuing education of
Wesfarmers livestock agents. Dr Pethick is involved in the teaching
of our undergraduate students, in addition to activities such as primary
producer and industry seminars, R and D activities, Scientific meetings,
and being on scientific advisory groups.
